Welcome to my new website and many thanks to Rob Rountree for designing it and getting it ready to roll !

For a long time my friends have been telling me that I am the only pianist on the planet without a website so here I am at last !

Last week I had one of my busiest weeks so far this year. On Monday 16th I drove from home in South Lakeland to London, where over the next 3 days I recorded Widor's 2 Concertos and his Fantasia with the BBC Concert Orchestra with Martin Yates, conductor, for Dutton Epoch. We recorded at St Jude's Hampstead Garden Suburb where the generous acoustic meant that I couldn't hear the back rows of wind players and they couldn't hear me ! As the piano was also some distance from the conductor and angled away from him so I couldn't really see him it was all credit to Martin for holding it together…
